Faith and Trust
12 April 2000
When troubles come, as troubles will,
In every shape and style;
Already have we won (half) the battle,
If we try, thru it all, to smile.
When darkness seems to be the bane
Of our daily lives,
And happiness just a dream;
Don't fret; be brave. And strive.
Strive to make a rainy day
Turn to a sunnier one,
And when heartache and pain come our way,
Remember the forty days our Lord has done.
These bad days are never forever,
Clouds do pass with the rain;
The sun will definitely shine thru,
Making you whole again.
Our Father's watching over us,
Our side he'll never leave;
If we but put our trust in Him
There's nothing we can't achieve.
